This water interruption is due to a leaking water main at Burdon Bridge at mile 5 on the Western Highway. The areas being affected are Western Avenue up to mile 9 including Sunset Park, Western Pine, and mile 8 communities on the Western Highway. BWS Staff is working diligently to restore the water supply.

Motorists are advised to be extremely careful when approaching the Burdon Bridge at mile 5 on the western highway due to heavy equipment and personnel being utilized to repair this leaking main.
