This ongoing water interruption is due to a prolonged electrical power outage at our pump station resulting in the depletion of our water storage. The areas being affected are San Joaquin Village, Calcutta Village, Carolina Village, Xaibe Village, and Halls Layout area in the Corozal Town. Belize Water Services staff is working diligently to get the water supply back to its normal capacity by 5:00pm today April 08th, 2010.
